Dave composes every Aether fragrance himself, by hand, in La Conner, Washington. All three are extraits at thirty percent concentration or more. What changes from one to the next is the balance of musk, tea and citrus.

03 Space Between Us: musk with iris and blossom

03 is a soft, milky musk with powdery iris and orange blossom over the warmth of clean skin. The florals sit inside the musk the way warmth sits inside a sleeve.

04 Tea Beneath Clouds: musk holding tea

04 is bright bergamot and oolong tea, with fig and soft musk beneath. Steam rising off oolong. Skin after rain. The quiet hour before anyone else is awake.

The tea is still the centre of 04, with citrus above it and fig and musk beneath. How tea got into perfume is its own story.

06 Sun Through Linen: citrus in daylight

06 is citrus-forward, with juicy orange, bright bergamot and a ginger edge. Warm skin, white linen, the grove at noon.

Choosing between them

What comes next

The next releases are for fall. Some go darker, toward fruit, smoke and incense. Others continue from here, toward soft musks and skin scents worn close. Each chapter is a limited run, and the list gets two full days to buy before a release opens to everyone.
